The Audubon Visitor's Center at Deb's Park is a 6,500 SF visitor's center designed to achieve the highest rating of sustainability attainable by using the US Green Building Council LEED® standards. The project was awarded a Platinum level LEED® rating following completion in late 2003.

Designed by EHDD Architects, the building sits in a parkland setting near Pasadena, California. Native plants were used onsite to preserve the natural setting of the site and reduce the need for watering. All planted vegetation on site will be self-sustaining and not need watering once established.

The building utilizes photovoltaic panels which provides enough energy for the building to run year-round. Not connected to any gas or power utilities, the building is self-sustaining and energy efficient.

The Audubon Visitor's Center aims to reintroduce nature and wildlife into the region and educate the public about preservation and conservation of our natural resources.
