The project included the design and construction of a new
103,000 gross square foot research laboratory building for
the USC School of Engineering.
Completed in December of 2004, the build has five floors
above grade and a basement. Included in the basement are
additional wet laboratories and laboratory teaching spaces.
Included in the building is 21,000 gross square feet of
wet research and development laboratories and 21,0000
gross square feet of research students’ services space.
Approximately 40,000 gross square feet is dedicated to
information technology.
The lobby floor contains a small dining area with food
services in the building, along with common gathering areas
for student and teacher use.
